I do the bicep curl machine and started at 20 pounds per arm now I’m up to 40. I don’t bench but I do all the muscle groups on diff equipment .. is this good??

Whatever number you can only lift 4 to 6 times that is for muscular hypertrophy. When you start doing 15+ reps that is for muscular endurance totally different thing. Good if you wanna go run for a long time, but not so good if you want to grow your muscular. I don’t know why everybody makes this so complicated.

46 yrs old and still hitting PRs at the gym. I am so thankful I found a trainer who understands the importance of strength training as we age. He still gives us cardio 2x a week, but it is HIIT work that sneaks in strength training while killing us in cardio. 💪🏻 lets get it!!

Been lifting heavy for 4 years and I may have seen 5 women lifting heavy enough. You CANNOT get bulky or too big. Get off the silly elipticals and treadmills and lift!!! 55 and best shape of my life
