just join the air force as an aircraft mechanic you get a ton of a experience and depending on AFSC you could qualify for the A and P portions then just study and test then you can put you have x years of experience and a A&P on a resume it’s a lot more favorable being a veteran and having experience

The oral is where the majority of people that fail, do so! The practical is all open book! Oral is closed book. Still doesn’t hurt to study for things you are unfamiliar with (safety wire, rivet, other procedures)

Practice safety wiring! You don’t want to crush a practical only to fail because you’re safety wire is backwards/too loose/ or too slow

I’m going to Cincinnati state and they have a program where you work part time at an airline and earn some of your credits that way. Then after a year you can sign on for full time
