The only manufacturer that I am aware of that requires percentage punch time is Mazda. The rest don’t require it

unfortunately too many people have abused the system. we got an audit. we need 50% of time to ran. on others codes we can get a max of 2.9 hrs. anything over needs a bunch of approval

Idk in MN warrenty companies have to pay Customer pay by law, so pro demand/all data or whatever other official cite you use so unless you click over customer pay and try to claim the time you golden

I usually just run time and not do the work. They wanna shaft me? Nah. If it comes back I’ll do the work then and get paid again. Usually ends up paying me right in the long run 🤷🏻♂️

Or go aftermarket and don’t deal with the bs. Will never go back! Before I owned the shop I still turned 40-100 hours a week! My tech turns 50-70 hours a week aftermarket
