@outdoorsieabbie: Here’s three days of DIY work condensed into less than thirty seconds (: We bought a 1997 truck camper with plans to travel and live out of it full time, and while I loved the vintage design of this model, I wasn’t a fan of the wallpaper. The detailing felt a bit visually overwhelming, and I thought it took away from the charm. To highlight the green cushions and the wood tone of our cabinets, we opted for a warm white color that would keep our camper feeling light and open while letting the accents and upholstery shine. This made it so much easier to incorporate a vibrant color palette when we decorated the space, and it made it feel less cluttered when I added some wall art. This was my first time painting, and while it wasn’t necessarily “difficult,” it was very tedious trying to paint a smaller space without staining the surrounding paneling. I was super impressed that we didn’t make any huge eyesore mistakes and am so excited to turn this camper into my home! #vanlife #diywall #rvliving #vanconversion #budgetvan
