The sad reality. These govt hospitals are really trying but theres just too many patients requiring extensive medical care for what the hospital can truly service. Sa sobrang di accessible- di na mapush yung preventive medicine kasi lahat may sakit na bago makapunta sa doctor. Di na nga pasok sa standards dahil ang lala ng ratio ng doctor to patient. Konti lang plantilla position para sa doctor, specialista, nurses at allied healthcare staff— non progressive pa ang sweldo para sa work na pang 2 na tao. Ang liit ng alloted land space sa pag build ng tertiary hospitals, walang room for expansion for modern medicine and more patients. Poor and irregular maintenance pa kasi kada may sira, dadaan sa process and approval na kay tagal, pag for replacement ang gamit— bidding pa daw, request for budget next year. This is just some aspects to a multifactorial problem that could be helped by good governance. Lets not be happy with guarantee political letters na ilalakad nyo pa sa politician nyo and one time allowances, we should demand for free and accessible healthcare with the crazy taxes we pay and comply with.
