I broke my back, I had open fixation surgery to fix it and was back up and walking the day after my surgery! Painful and extremely difficult, 5 steps would exhaust me so much but I’m now 2 months post op and back working and doing most of my normal activities again

I also fractured my L1 like a month ago because of a car crash and despite having no back pain or anything like that anymore, I just can't stop wishing I could just do all the things I used to do. Like driving, walk my dog again, go out and maybe go to the cinema or anything. The thing is I must keep the back brace on all the time (except night) and I feel like my home's a prison now. I'm so bored. And I won't be able to have my normal life back before 19th february...

broke my T6, T10, and T11 vertebrae on the 3rd of September, and right now I'm still in a brace, but everything is much better — you all can do this, don't give up!❤

I fractured my L4 last September and it was horrific, the pain was awful, and I still get pain now daily, I've finally been referred for some physio! ❤

I had bad sciatica. My right leg gave out. I fell backwards and fx my L1. The pain is unbearable at times. Looks like 2 weeks you feel better. ER sent me home waiting for my ortho appt Monday! Glad to see there might be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have a compression fracture of 30% to my T7, this happened 11 weeks ago. Hospital sent me off saying I’ll be fine but yet I’m still in pain 24/7 and just want to play with my boy and get back into the gym already 😭 thankful I’m getting my GP to look further into it and have a bone density scan this week then hopefully rehab 🤟🏼
