it's not drying fast! it's a porous stone, the water is sinking in... people usually find mold under these, as they never look under it. with rugs/towels they usually wash it once in a while...

the way people dont dry off in the showrr to prevent water going everywhere blows my mind. never have a soggy bath mat when you hang it up and dont splash water everywhere while u shower

Issue is cleaning it. Mine stayed near the sink for wudhu which people would sometimes stand over with slippers. Unless you feel like scrubbing it constantly, it didn’t work for my family. Much easier to just keep washing a bath mat
