The BEST dessert you can have on your period (or just in general) 🫶🏼🍫🍰 ceremonial cacao mousse cake that is actually so easy to make!! Ceremonial cacao cake Ingredients: Chocolate mousse: 1 head of cauliflower 200g ceremonial cacao 3/4 c honey (increase to 1 cup of you like things a bit sweeter) or 16 dates (deseeded and soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes) 1/4 c coconut cream 1tbsp vanilla paste 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp cardamom (optional) 5 cracks black pepper Dash of salt Chocolate Graham cracker crust: 190 gluten free graham crackers (can use regular) 45g coconut oil melted 22 g cacao powder 1tbsp maple syrup 3 tbsp light brown coconut sugar Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. De- stem your cauliflower and chop into 1.5 inch pieces. Add to a large pot with enough water for the cauliflower to swim in. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and let cook covered for 25-30 minutes or until the cauliflower is very very soft. 2. While the cauliflower is cooking make the graham cracker crust. Add the graham crackers to a food processor and mix until there are no chunks larger than a pebble. Add rest of crust ingredients (melted coconut oil, cacao powder, coconut oil, maple syrup and brown coconut sugar) and mix until it is fully incorporated. Should be a damp sand like texture that sticks when pressed together between your fingers. 3. Spread along the bottom of a parchment paper covered 9x9 springform pan. Evenly press and compact to the bottom with a jar and put it in the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes. 4. Once the cauliflower is done drain in a colander. Add cauliflower, ceremonial cacao, honey, vanilla, and all seasonings to your food processor and blend until completely creamy and silky. 5. Pour over your cooled graham cracker crust. Put in fridge to chill and set for at least 4-6 hrs, but overnight is best. 6. Once chilled top with fruit or whip cream and enjoy! Keep stored chilling in the fridge! #dessert #femalehealth #glutenfree #hormones #chocolatemousse
