Police are not taught the law. They aren’t even taught the basics, especially when it comes to civil rights. They’re just given badges and guns and sent out onto the street to enact terrorism on the public. And why does this happen? Because the powers that be don’t care. In the end, the city will have to pay tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to settle a lawsuit, which is paid for from the citizens, you know, the people they don’t care about in the first place.
