Prosecutors say Rubin spent over $1 million on this network, while Powers arranged encounters and dismissed victims’ complaints by telling them to use ice or bruise cream. Rubin has pleaded not guilty, but he previously lost a $4 million civil judgment in 2022 after several women accused him of sexual assault. Once a high-profile Wall Street trader featured in Liar’s Poker, Rubin previously held senior roles at Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, and Soros Fund Management.
