Se rescató a los bancos y a las empresas, pero nunca se apoyó a los de abajo". Deuda que no disminuye: Pese a que durante casi tres décadas el Estado mexicano ha pagado montos billonarios únicamente por concepto de intereses, el saldo total no baja; actualmente supera el billón de pesos en pasivos administrados por el IPAB. Impacto al presupuesto anual: Cada año fiscal se deben destinar entre 40 mil y más de 50 mil millones de pesos del erario público exclusivamente para pagar los intereses de este rescate, recursos que no llegan a infraestructura, salud ni educación.
