@cwillygolf: How to get better at putting. This will help players at any level. If you want to play highschool, college, or professional golf you need to putt really well. 1. Putting mirror - check eyeline, feet (don’t have to be square but need to be consistent), putter aim, center contact. 2. Putter track (2x4s)- you can use many things as a track for your path. Path is not as important as having a consistent face angle at impact, but is good to keep consistent and avoid developing loops in your stroke. 3. Putting Matt- this is for start line. You have to hit your line on the right pace to make putts, so this is very important in putting. 4. Putts from 3-8ft- your odds of making a putt drastically go up inside 8ft, but you need to work on them to make a lot of those putts. There are many drills you can do for this. Pay attention to the pace you’re hitting each putt, and get used to making them. 5. Lag putting- there are many drills for lag putting as well. You will lose a scary amount of strokes by being a bad lag putter. It’s arguably the most important part of putting, and it needs to be a part of your practice everytime you are on a putting green. This is what I will be doing this offseason to get better. I hope you do the same and see good results! #golf
