Creamy Lamb karahi (curry) Ingredients * 1.2 kg lamb/mutton * 5 tbsp oil * 2 white onions, sliced * 1½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste * 3 glasses warm water * 1 tbsp cumin powder * 1 tbsp coriander powder * ½ tbsp black pepper * Salt, to taste * ¼ cup cooking cream * Green chilies, sliced * Fresh ginger, sliced Method: 1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the lamb until it changes from red to white. 2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly, then add the sliced onions. 3. Add warm water, cumin powder, coriander powder, and black pepper powder. Cover and cook for 1½ hours, stirring every 20 minutes. 4. Once the lamb is tender, add salt and cooking cream. Mix well and sauté until the oil and cream come together. 5. Add sliced green chilies and ginger. Mix briefly, then serve hot.
