They want us to hate each other. They hate us together. They hate us united. They bring it to genders but the gender was never the dividing line. It was our unity they aimed at. As a feminist I do feel bad for men thinking they must hide their emotions or they rarely go to check up appointments just to be sure they are healthy. They are setting impossible standards for both women and men. Nobody is safe

I get so frustrated when i see a good movie but the female characters are so shallow and are basically stepping stones for the male characters. I hate that female writers can write amazing male characters, but male writers can rarely write women. I hate that the only acceptable "good" female character is when she is written to emulate traditionally masculine traits. When she's a "girl boss" who shows no emotion. Who isn't allowed to have faults or complexities beside " girl strong". I wish women in fiction got to exist in all the varieties and shades as men do 💔.
