I was also told by the Samsung agent to always charge it with it open. It prevents the hinge area of the screen to not dry and making it crack by excess heat while charging. I keep mine open while at home, just fold it when I'm out and about 🥰

I had my Zflip 6 for a year and upgraded for the bigger screen. Mines was in perfect condition. Don't slam the screen when you close it either.
