Same as it has been - originality. AI is great at doing the average and it's those creators doing routine work which will suffer. But those creating truly original work will be fine. That and stuff genuinely made by hand. So painters, sculptures etc will also be fine.

I have aphantasia, so when my wife asked me to draw an octopus on our kitchen table (with very specific artistic requests), I knew exactly what she wanted… but couldn’t picture it myself. Instead of giving up or guessing, I turned to AI image generation. I described her vision, refined the results, and landed on a reference image that captured what she imagined. Using that as my guide, I inked the design onto our table with a set of Sharpies. The result:

The evolutionary perspective cleans the decks. There's more to our nervous system than the brain, 'functionarily' fundamentally speaking, and there's more to our system than the nervous system. Then there's the broader environment that it has been naturally selected as sensitive to, for better or worse. Just saying☺️.
