@abbiegoes: Welcome to the India vlogs 🇮🇳 🌎 Travel from London to Mumbai with me! Tips below 👇 Where to stay📍 We started in west Bandra / Pali Hill which is known as a bustling upmarket neighbourhood with loads of shops, cafes and restaurants plus a busy market. However, I wouldn’t recommend this for first time visitors as it was extremely hectic and difficult to walk around due to lack of pavements. I would recommend staying in Colaba, or splashing out and staying at a luxury hotel like one of the Tajs or The Leela if you don’t mind being further from the city. Getting around 🚗 It is easy to navigate the city with rickshaws/tuk tuks (for short distances) or Ubers - Ubers arrived within a few minutes and were very cheap. Food 🍴 Perhaps the best part of Mumbai! We loved the Irani-style cafes and had delicious cold lassis, fresh juices and snacks at Leopold’s and Cafe Mondegar. Elco was recommended to us for street food, as it’s popular with tourists and has good hygiene, but we didn’t make it there! We enjoyed pastries at 27 bakehouse, but there were lots of bakery options that looked fantastic. As well as chai, coffee with decent espresso is available in most cafes. For dinner, our favourite was Masque fine dining (another video coming on that!) You will be spoiled for choice in Mumbai. Things to do 🚶♀️ We enjoyed exploring the streets of Colaba, seeing the Gateway of India of course and walking to the museum. We also popped into the Taj hotel for a look around. We only had 1 full day in the city, so let me know in the comments other things to do in Mumbai! #Mumbai #India #TravelVlog #MumbaiGuide #travel
