🌳 East Hartford area moms, have you been to this park ? Martin Park is a pretty large community park with a little bit of everything, and while some areas could definitely use some TLC, the playground itself was a nice find. It was updated in 2022 and has plenty of shade, which is always a mom plus! There’s also basketball courts, a baseball field, football field, picnic pavilions, and access to the Hockanum River walking trails. There is also a skatepark and a historic outdoor swimming pool, although both looked pretty run-down when we visited. The pool was closed for the 2026 season due to needed repairs, and the skatepark was locked. Not every park we visit is going to be a hidden gem, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth sharing! 🚻 Bathrooms on site Overall, I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way for this one, but if you’re local to East Hartford or already in the area, it’s another playground worth knowing about! Sometimes it’s the everyday neighborhood parks that end up being the most useful to discover 💚 📍 Martin Park 307 Burnside Avenue East Hartford, CT 🕒 sunrise to sunset #easthartford #EastHartfordCT #CTPlaygrounds #ConnecticutKids #hartfordct
