It took me 5 days of excruciating pain and couldn’t hold a cup to drink water and threw up every time. I had hallucinations that were so real and intense. I couldn’t hold a remote or eat food for 5 days. Good for you!!! 1 year next week. ❤️

I agree with you 100% I'm currently on my 3rd or 4th day of cold turkey and nothing really different so far but I never craved it but I'd drink a 5th or quart everynight for years. but for me I already take 1 of the meds Givin for withdrawal due to my neuropathy

I ignored the signs of alcohol abuse for so many years until i realize I had a problem. By then when I went through the withdrawals were the most painful thing I have ever experienced. There’s not just the physical symptoms you have have but also you can have brain fog you go through and a bunch of mental stuff like I did.

whew cold turkey was a different beast , almost killed me such intense hallucinations that I could not differentiate from reality be safe!!! do the medical detox

People should know if you go to the hospital to detox. You're going to get a $5-7k bill.

Not lying. I have had 6 seizures in the last 4 mths and this last time was two weeks ago and I was in the hospital for 3 days it was so scary I had no idea how bad it could be

Yes yes yes! get medical attention. I'm there I asked my oilfield husband who works out of town to take vacation in January so I can detox. i literally cannnnnot go 8 hours without a drink or I'm violently puking stomach acid and ewww the shakes and not being able to write. Alcoholic Neuropathy

When you go to the ER for detoxing, do you just tell them that you’re having alcohol withdrawals? Do they get mad. I thought about doing that one time but luckily I ended up being ok at home but I was sick for several days. I am 2 weeks sober now
