Had a young kid come in to cash a check for 2500 we knew the signature was off called the customer and the kid even talked to the customer and said he’d done that work for her. We get on the phone and she’s like idk who that is and I didn’t not write him a check. Cops come and dude had been approached and asked if he wanted easy money and to go cash the check. Gave him a workers vest and gloves too. He told us they were waiting next door and I said no they left you here to deal with the consequences of trying to cash a forged check, homie. I felt really bad for him because he seemed not all there. Banks are paying attention. We investigate every inch of the checks. This isn’t worth it
