(I’m sure all of you know this but maybe it’ll help someone) between your big toe and the next toe over, draw a line straight up and feel for a pulse, as a medic that’s what I do and it helps 🫶

One time, as a student, I kept saying I couldn’t find the pedal pulse. They brought in the Doppler, still couldn’t find it. Turns out they had a massive occlusion in their abdominal aorta 🤷🏼♀️

The more pressure I use the harder it is to feel it. LIGHT touch and I always find them! (Or use the Doppler)

Or you work on the vascular unit, they are monophasic, and you needed a Doppler to detect in the first place! You aren’t alone! You’ve got this.
