@jujumaoo: 🧅 French Onion Pasta | Pasta So Good, Italians Won’t Be Offended Episode 2 Pasta used: - Spaghetti French onion blend: - 2-4 white onions, sliced - 10-12 garlic cloves, minced - 1 sprig of thyme, minced - ⅓ cup of flour - 2 tbsp of brandy - ½ cup of beef stock - 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp of balsamic glaze - 1/2 cup of heavy cream - Parmesan cheese to taste - Gruyere cheese to your liking - 4-6 knobs of butter - Pepper to taste INGREDIENTS: - Start by sauteing onions until caramelized add garlic, thyme and flour to form the roux. Deglaze with brandy. - Add beef stock and mix, before adding worcestershire sauce, balsamic glaze, cream, and your cheeses.
