PSA: if you’re room is untreated and you have a condenser record in the middle of your room away from wall and windows and set your input low it won’t catch reflections and noise!🫡🫡

Dynamic is less sensitive to background sound yeah but it’s also less sensitive to sound in general esp on the high end, condenser mics usually sound brighter overall but are more sensitive in general so it’s a trade off either way, I like the way condenser mics capture the full spectrum of sound tho so I just learned to work around it

everyone saying use a limiter is wrong. yes it will get rid of the background noise while you’re not speaking, but as you speak that background sound will still bleed into your vocals
