People hear MrBeast say he is a billionaire on paper who reinvests everything, and they assume that means he gives away all his money and keeps almost nothing for himself. What he actually means, and what is true for every billionaire, is that his wealth is not cash. It is the value of the companies he owns. That is the exact same situation for Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Kylie Jenner, and every other billionaire people recognize. None of these individuals have billions of dollars sitting in a bank account. Their companies are what make them wealthy. All of them reinvest their revenue into their own businesses because that is what produces growth. Cash has low returns. Cash does not grow on its own. Putting money back into the business increases the company’s valuation, and that increase is where billionaires get their wealth. It is simple business math. Reinvestment expands reach, production, infrastructure, and market value. It is not philanthropy. It is the standard strategy every billionaire uses to make their company richer and more successful.

We were all for Mr Beast until we stumbled on old footage of him talking about buying and selling people of color and making very problematic comments about homosexuals. I didn’t even have to say anything and my daughter immediately lost all interest.

to long to explain but to sides to every coin, both haters and fans. one will flood your comments first and thats all you will see. your son is only going to see a cool funny video and be caught up on social trends that his friends at school will know. seeing this as an adult and then seeing political sides and where does the money goes is pointless. Just let him watch and watch a few with him.

My kids watch him! And they love him! The videos they watch are either funny or him giving back to the community or playing games! My children are 7-10! I also do have parental controls so they don’t see any other side of him if there is one!

to preface this, I dont like nor do I dislike mister beast. ill watch him when a video comes up on tt once a twice a year but thats about it. so 1, secretive or performative philanthropy, why does it matter? if money is going to a cause, who cares if the donator makes a big fuss about themselves 🤷♀️theyre still doing more than you and I could in our economic class. 2, he really only has the money to be a philanthropist because ppl watch his weird videos. so sure we can sit here and shame him, but its ppl giving him the views and the money so..... not entirely on him. did he say some awful things? yeah. has he kept questionable company? yup. but hes human, hes not a teen anymore, hopefully hes learned. maybe use the info you learn about Mr beast to let your kiddo decide if he wants to keep watching him 🤷♀️it could be a good learning experience for him

My bf little brother is a pretty famous YouTuber, he is friends with Mr beast and has said that he is very odd lol he is nice but not as nice as he portrays on his channel. I have heard of many unsafe conditions while shooting for squid games. But I do let my 4 year old watch him.
