Took my ovaries and no post op for me. And it took me 9 months to get them to even test my hormones. Turns out I wasn’t absorbing estrogen gel and now trialling something else, but have been unwell all year. I actually don’t know anyone who’s been followed up or even automatically given HRT appointment

Here's a wild one: my hormones crashed after I had a bilateral mastectomy. I couldn't get anyone to believe me. Had to run my own tests (jasonhealth) and do my own research and then find otc hormones. Ladies ...this shit should NEVER happen to us! They just want us to lay down and die.

I have had no follow after keeping my ovaries. It then took them 13 weeks to finally tell me they found endometrial cancer. Now waiting to find out if it has spread after having 13 weeks of it not being monitored.

I had 2 gynae surgeries and never was asked for a follow up. It's a good job I'd pre researched it to see how things should go, because things did indeed go wrong.

My post op was a ‘chat’ 30seconds I was out. Didn’t even take my coat off……No ovaries. 2yrs later still no check on, but heart health and bone density should be checked. I was under 40
