In June 2026 the Southern Baptist Convention, more than 50,000 churches, met in Orlando. Southern Baptist leaders had been on the plane. It passed a resolution against antisemitism. It names October 7. It names Jerusalem. It does not contain the word Palestinian. Not Gaza. Not the West Bank. Not Bethlehem. A Palestinian Christian in the West Bank wrote to them in July: "Bethlehem is still here, and so are we."
