it is not a toy. this is how we start spoiling children. is that everything wants to play with you have to give them to play with. there are things children should not be playing with and the scanner is one of them.

One you're working to it's a tool at work you don't want a kid touching it because you can get fired for small mistakes at the register if the scanner gets broken it's on you so yeah I agree with Costco firing her it's not a toy it's company equipment but they should have pulled it into the break room and specify do not let anyone touch it besides the people who work at the counter
