They may damage the rims when putting on the tyres I own a panel shop in Perth and put sublets sometimes damage rims whilst putting on tyres then we have to fix them it’s just a risk they take .im not sure why they wouldn’t though as even if you purchased them from the business the risk is still there

DIY call and ask for Jamie 👏 they have it to do yourself and they alwahappy to lend a hand aswell. They are very women friendly place too!

because there is no money in fitting supplied tyres and you run the risk of damaging a wheel so it's not worth it

I understand the frustration of this. I have had this in the past especially with semi slicks. Most tyre companies will only fit and supply their own tyres for Quality reassurance.
