@cbsmiami: A Planet Fitness employee is recovering after being attacked by a gym member at the Little Havana location. Miami police said the attack happened after the employee asked 35-year-old Kiara Bryant to lower her voice in the locker room. Officers said Bryant became aggressive, and after a brief push in self-defense, she put on her shoes, jumped over the counter and repeatedly punched the employee as he tried to shield his face. Bryant was arrested and charged with battery and disorderly conduct. The victim suffered a broken nose and emotional distress, and his attorney hopes prosecutors pursue additional charges. Planet Fitness said it has zero tolerance for violence, cooperated with police and cancelled Bryant’s membership. She has since bonded out of jail.
