All my squatting life I’ve been lifting in Converse. Yesterday I finally tried my new Adidas Dropset 3s and wow, a total game changer👀 Converse might look the part, but they don’t offer much stability. Proper lifting shoes are designed with a flat, solid base that helps you stay grounded and keep better alignment through your squat. The Dropset 3s made my squats feel way more solid and supported. The only thing I need to get used to now is having less wiggle room in my feet (I have a habit of wriggling them around throughout my setup to find the “perfect” position). But overall… first impression: big upgrade✅ 👉🏻If squats are a big part of your training, the right shoes really do make a difference.
