He explained that it all started one day when he left his house for an interview in Ikate. When he got to his junction in Yaba, then EFCC picked him up for internet fraud. They alleged that I had sold a club in England to some Arab investors. I was then transferred to Interpol. I couldn't contact any family members unless I agreed to help them find this so-called friend. No lawyer, bail or court date was provided. As we walked out of the market complex, every passer-by hailed him, calling him "Jaja of Opobo" and saying he was the king of merchants in that market. He had this big smile on his face, even while telling me his story. As we approached my car, he said, "Madam, make I finish this story, make you no dey drive and dey wonder how e end." He continued, explaining that they had eventually discovered that his friend had used his full name and credentials while plotting the scam. This was supposed to be his best friend. "They let me go after three years, he said. My name is Francesca Ignatius, wife of Sunday Festus Ignatius, whom I know to be Jubril's so-called best friend.
