The carpet was wet SLUSH. I love it here 😍 ETA: this is a fully interior wall. There is a valley on the roof where two pitches meet that *should* have been a flow point for the water. However, it was not properly sealed and the rain water was just pooling down into the wall below. The builders have fixed the roof leak, but they are majorly dragging their feet about fixing the other issues caused by it, so we are just in a limbo on completing our move-in until they do so. They are also giving us a song and dance about how the insulation is a newer upgraded insulation that doesn’t hold water, so they don’t need to open up the wall to check for moisture 😍 We didn’t want to blast them because otherwise we have been happy with our house, and a lot of our neighbors that have built with them were also very happy, but we are learning things here and there that are building up the bigger picture, and it is… yikes. Anyway. The builder is iconiq homes for those asking 🤪
