I will stand on the "audiobooks count" hill until I die. Not only does it make it easier for me to enjoy books as someone with mild dyslexia, but the oral tradition of passing on stories existed for centuries before the printing press and before TV we had radio serials. I will say for technical info, going to need the book, but for anything literary? Audio works just the same as paper

the thing is it's the same every year and it's only ever this way round, i've never seen anyone who's read over 100 books a year saying something negative about people who read less! i've read 497 books so far, and listened to 177 audiobooks, and if someone told me they read 2/20/200 books this year i'd be equally thrilled for them!
