@bootseytwofly: I’m a young man I was dealing with a lot of mental issues at the time and me and my foster mother could not get along very well at all so we ended up arguing on my birthday and she purposely threw me out of the house on my birthday so I was pissed off and frustrated from dealing with her all the time. At that moment I had to take the pistol that I had bought from a friend of mine with me because the neighborhood was pretty dangerous back in the late 90s and early 2000 as I am walking towards Cleveland Avenue and Atlanta on the south side I see a dude from high school I remember his face and he was with another young dude I had never seen before, but I didn’t say anything because we weren’t friends or anything so he started a whole argument with me and they tried to jump me and he pulled a pistol on me and then walked on but out of anger I turned around and pulled the pistol on them and pulled the trigger and I tried to shoot him in his face, but the gun jammed and I kept trying to squeeze the trigger, but nothing would come out so they retreated in One Direction and I went in the other direction and when I noticed it was like the gun wouldn’t work at all. It was the strangest thing ever, but one moment could’ve changed it all now. Just imagine all of the young men and women that wasn’t so lucky. I could have been dead or shot or in prison right now because of that altercation. It was like my mom sent me out there full of anger and frustration on purpose and I think God showed mercy that day because I was a lost young man. God warns that uncontrolled anger opens the door to destruction: it fuels strife, clouds wisdom, and invites judgment. “Be angry, and do not sin,” Scripture says—meaning anger must be governed, not unleashed.
