This couple and their story is hands down the BEST thing Leigh has ever written and will ever write. The concept of Nina taking jurda parem to save Matthias’ life in SOC and it altering her power of life to the power of death and then when Matthias is dying in CK her needing her old powers back to save him but not being able to. She was doomed to lose him either way. SICK.
