@casabolanos: What is it? 🇨🇴👇🧨 Año viejo is a New Year’s tradition in Colombia, literally means the old year, as a way to rid the bad vibes and energies of the year and welcome in hope for the new year Notice anything? The año viejo are shaped like people, while some are meant to poke fun (devils, cartoon characters, even the Mask), many make a political and social statement. The one I’ve seen most this year? A particular orange cult leader…. 😂🤭 These figures are filled with fireworks and ready to send off 2025 with a BANG 💥 If I’m not mistaken, they do this tradition in Mexico and Ecuador, too!
