Seems like there might be a risk in charging these lithium batteries directly from the alternator if they have low internal resistance until full? Do these require some sort of DC to DC charger to protect the vehicle?

does the BMS go up when running in series? most of the lithium batteries say not for use with starting generator but the BMS is less then the amp draw

my 80 ah LA batt wouldn't run my 12v fridge 8hrs. Went to 100ah LI and 18 hrs is no problem. Had to change my converter/charger and added a Renogy shunt to monitor voltages. Std volt meter is useless on LI because the voltage doesn't drop when discharged. camper showed 100% all the time.

doesn't the lithium put out higher voltage and may damage an older circuit?

they did not cost the same in the past. the cost for me was the deciding factor 👌👏🙏

I use 3 AGM batteries and they last me all night. I then have a solar panel I use to charge them during the day and I never have to use my generator unless I need the microwave or coffee maker.

We live near you. How does it hold up to heat in the summers just sitting in the storage lot? I usually just buy 2 Costco golf cart 6v in series and replace them every few years.

Changes our 2015 Excursion house batteries from 4 acid to 2 lithium batteries. Had to make some changes of fuses and wiring and reprogram our energy controller to lithium batteries. Only negative is we pull them in winter which means rv has no power as the shore power goes through the house battery circuit. Love the Lithium batteries

I have 6volt batteries in serial/ parallel on my fleetwood bouncer. I could use these instead and run them just in parallel? Also do I need a different charge controller?

I bought some but feel like I need to bring them into my climate controlled house between trips. Can they stay in the trailer through temp extremes?
