Seems like there might be a risk in charging these lithium batteries directly from the alternator if they have low internal resistance until full? Do these require some sort of DC to DC charger to protect the vehicle?

We live near you. How does it hold up to heat in the summers just sitting in the storage lot? I usually just buy 2 Costco golf cart 6v in series and replace them every few years.

2 100 amp hour lithium batteries with a dc-dc charger and 2 solar panels on our gas motorhome. We just did 2 weeks in the desert and don’t fire the generator up

I use 3 AGM batteries and they last me all night. I then have a solar panel I use to charge them during the day and I never have to use my generator unless I need the microwave or coffee maker.

I have 6volt batteries in serial/ parallel on my fleetwood bouncer. I could use these instead and run them just in parallel? Also do I need a different charge controller?
