Nah, Tate McRae ate this alive with her tour last year. She made Britney look like a wannabe pop star.

britney’s legacy feels so swept under the rug sometimes, she changed the entire pop landscape to a borderline unprecedented degree

I'm glad you acknowledged Madonna and Janet, but another who developed the blueprint was Paula Abdul and her over the top dancing performances. She raised the bar for choreography in live shows.

People might not know that Britney IS THE FIRST pop princess, blueprint of a young female pop girl. She shaped touring, music, selling perfume, merch etc.. every girl after her followed her footsteps and that’s okay cuz Britney opened doors for the girls ! Ofc we also gotta give credit to Madonna and Janet Jackson, Spice Girls, they paved the way for Britney too

Britney had a stage presence that was UNMATCHED no one performed like her before and no one has performed like her since. Shes an icon for a reason.

I agree Madonna and Janet had a more political /provocation leaning. This chaotic spectacle is more Michael Jackson than Janet, right?
