some ppl need to stop demonising avoidant. some of u think it’s okay for anxious ppl to act the way they are bcs they cling onto u until u’re mentally drained bcs of the fear from being abandoned, yet that’s okay bcs at least “they’re there” but says otherwise to avoidant bcs they run away or in other word be a “heartless a hole” for distancing bcs they fear closeness. if u cant handle an avoidant, u should’ve left to begin with. avoidant want exactly what everyone wants, to be loved and to love, but they feel too much and don’t know how to regulate it healthily so they run bcs they fear the pain and they don’t know how to sit in chaos. both attachment issues need work to be secure and i’ve been dealing with one. up ‘till now he’s slowly working on himself, fighting his own inconsistent fear just to love. as much as it hurts for me, it’s more painful to see how torturing it is for him just to want a normal love

yea idk.. for me “you deserve better” means i think im not enough for you, “im not ready for a relationship” means im not ready to be this intently focused on someone else while trying to focus on myself, “it shouldn’t be this hard” means it shouldn’t be this hard to have a stable connection, “i don know what i want” means i literally don’t know what i want, and “i just need space” means that sometimes people need space. idk what kind of toxic energy you’re putting around yourselves but this ain’t me ✋

how about rejection, saying "i don't want you, i don't love you", BUT staring and holding eye contact intensely and physically reacting your presence wherever you are, whatever you do or talk in a non-stop way and not reaching out or even saying hello ? by physical reaction i mean blushing, fidgeting, leg shaking, arm hair plugging, self-grooming, voice changing, staring only at you while talking to others. i mean, he said he doesn't love me, he has no feelings. but 5 days later i caught him staring at me as usual

I understand avoidants pero kung di mo tutulungan sarili mo to move, to change, or to take risk, di mo talaga makikita ang isang bagay na hinahanap mo, di rin talaga maiiwasan ang mag kasakitan sa isang relasyon. Wala kayong makikita na perfect relationship na hindi nag kakasakitan, lahat sa simula smooth, pero pag tumagal, dun na mag sisimula ang mga trials. Wag kayo hanap ng perfect na tao, find someone na makakasama mo in those trials, someone that will choose you everyday despite you both have imperfections, you hurt each other, etc. Dun niyo makikita ang true meaning ng Love.
