Misunderstood :
We live in Myrtle Beach and drive into the city 3-4 times a year for shopping and auto repair. We love going to Charleston but wouldn’t want to live there. He forgot to mention it floods when it rains.

I moved there in 2011 and left in 2020. It was overcrowded, expensive and low pay. It lost its charm unfortunately

I think this is a very great video. I absolutely loved Charleston, but you’re very right on your points. Mt Pleasant convenience is very expensive. Still miss it though.

I almost moved back after college. Then I realized the only thing I actually missed was drinking and eating downtown on a nice day. And the only way to really do that is to live directly near king street, which is wildly expensive and needs roommates. Decided it wasn’t worth it
