Im technically an ultrasound tech (I graduated and got my ardms but I got pregnant and never actually worked in the field) and I'm thinking about doing a MRI tech certificate program... do you think I'll get hired if I do that or is it a waste?

Ik rt takes 2 years n I've seen others say that your gpa is important to get accepted in programs I didn't care for school back then am I screed I got my diploma tho lol

Your right but it may take years before they will cross train you. FaureI worked in radiology for 20 years. I waited nine years and one hospital to get trained in CT and MRI. Because there were people before me longer. once they got in those spots. there were no openings. They don’t train you so you can leave and get a job somewhere else.
