Im not really convinced that a single torpedo could brake a Japanese aircraft carrier in half as depicted in this video. Though its likely a modern torpedo could sink a carrier of this vintage, I think they would capsize instead..but yes..the structural damage would be catastrophic..

Even if it’s protocol to use 2 torpedoes. In this situation. It should only be one torpedo per ship. Particularly with the massive tech difference.

Seawolf has anti ship missiles as well as the torpedoes. Their weapons aren’t infinite, but they could easily wipe out anything larger than a destroyer and even take out a large chunk of the destroyer escorts.
