If the patient had no family and no emergency contact, I don’t see what the problem was. Should the nurse really be fired if the patient didn’t want to die alone?! If the patient is dying and has a final request, protocol shouldn’t stand in the way of the nurse abiding and respecting that final request. We’re humans for god sake!!!

she did not do anything wrong she stayed with the patient because the patient didn't want to die alone and had no other family or kids or anything so therefore they should not have fired her for having some human decency
