My Recipe For The Best Slime Activator That Never Crystalises. I have been making my slime activator this way for about 5 years and I discovered this by accident. I was trying to clean out and break down the thick layer of Crystals from inside the bottle and nothing was working so I had glycerine near by and added it in hope it would get between the bottle and crystals and like oil make it slip off and easy to break. What I found is it actually helped melt them down a little bit. I then started making my activator like this and realised that it never crystallised again. You need - Activator Powder or Borax Any Glycerine Hot Water Cold water. I made my activator double strength as a minimum, it just pulls slime together quicker and makes it thicker slime as you’re adding less water. Anyway so with your desired amount of activator powder add a little glycerine to make a thick paste but thin enough it will run off a spoon. Stir the mixture for a couple of minutes then add the Same amount of hot water into the solution. Again not too much as you want the mixture to still have a good concentration of glycerine. Stir for a minute or two send then add water to make about 10% of the final solution. For me I made 1 litre if activator so the second pour of hot water I filled to 100ml ish. Again stir for about a minute until the activator has pretty much fully dissolved and then top up with cold water. It is now ready to use immediately but if you want you can always chuck in a couple of ice cubes to bring the temperature down. But it’s always room temperature just if you add too much hot water. Anyway that’s the finished product, it doesn’t cause bead fall out at all and it’s great for bottling up as it looks pretty and in spray bottles will not clog the straws.
