Beautiful interview Luke. From someone who's lost their mum, if you listened like this with such compassion in your eyes, I'd feel comfortable talking about my grief. I really dislike it when interviewers talk over their guests when they're sharing something so very personal. Keep up the great work Luke. 🥰

I met Lisa and her Mum Cath a couple of times when I worked in a fancy dress shop in Radcliffe, they were both so lovely, very chatty and friendly. You could see how proud of each other they were.

Same - lost my mum nearly 8 years ago. Watching that happen with chemo and meds was trauma indeed. I drank my way through it. When she finally passed (I say finally as no child/adult needs to see that) I still drank through it. I love how raw and real this video is because what are you supposed to do? Crack on? It’s been 8 years and I cracked on. But it’s not the same 🥰😍

I remember watching you on strictly knowing you had lost her. I don’t know how you did it my darling. I lost my mum 12 months ago and have struggled so much. It’s like my lighthouse has gone and I can’t find my way home. I am a completely different person now and have to navigate the rest of my life without her . Thank you for your honesty and sharing in the jungle, it helped me a lot 💔

I totally get this. I was 25 when mine died. She was 46. I was utterly heart broke and still am. I couldn’t cope at all. I had a new baby and no one understood. My dad brought a new woman home 3 months after and moved her in my mums house and he wondered why my head fell off. But I was selfish for not letting him be happy - he said…. She was sleeping in my mums bed and asking me if I wanted a cuppa - stood in my mums kitchen. It’s been 20 years and I miss my mum SO much 😭
