the dnc purposefully loses elections so they can get more donation money and nobody can convince me otherwise. we could've avoided both trump terms if they had down what they claim to do but they would've rather rigged the 2016 primaries and caucuses and bypassed them in 2024 for candidates they knew would maintain the status quo of making the rich richer. and they knew those candidates would lose.

It was an email that stopped me from ever supporting these fools again. I’m mad it wasn’t their actions but the insult of the email. It was late spring 2021 and Biden had not only discouraged mask usage and made people come back to work in office AND said some awful stuff about Palestine but he spoke out against disregarding the filibuster to pass voting right protections. Then the DNC had the audacity to send me, a long time organizer, an email about how we needed to get to work to overcome all the rep voting restrictions. I just sat there furious as every hour I spent canvassing in the last two decades ran through my mind. I can’t believe how much of my time and labor I gave these cruel feckless democrats.

This made me laugh, only because, soon after Oct.. 7th, when it was made known that Biden was supporting genocide, I wrote the DNC. I told them that they needed to do something about Biden because if they let him continue, Trump would come in again and this country would spiral downward fast. They texted backed and asked for a donation. I knew then it was going to get a lot worse.

Absolutely. Someone else I follow kept asking: "If the Dems want people to resist fascism and the Republicans and Trump, what are they doing for people to be able to do so?". What are they doing to make sure people are housed? Fed? Not contracting disabling airborne diseases twice a year? Not being assaulted by militarized police for exercising constitutional rights? Not letting billionaires siphon wealth and therefore accumulate more power than they already have? Some Dems (like Mamdani) might be doing this or have some real plan to do this. But the DNC at its core does not care and does fuck all. They (try to) actively torpedo candidates like Mamdani. People need to be way pickier about candidates in primaries and elections and figure out what they can do together that does not depend on the Dems being in office, and even less on them being true to their campaign promises.
