I live in Bowling Green, the 3rd largest city in Kentucky, and it's not in the triangle. Pretty much right in the middle of Louisville and Nashville. We're growing crazy fast. Too fast.

A lot of home owners in Kentucky (even more so in the rural areas) own several acres at a time. My family owns 40 we and all live on it. We also prioritize our nature and wildlife as we all love hunting, fishing, camping, etc. and the job market also sucks there’s that too

Yes, it’s a rural state, the red areas are cities. It’s the same distribution as every other state. Some states, like GA, have huge population centers like Atlanta. Look at VA, a tremendous amount of ppl live in northern va, the rest of the state is rural. Why is this interesting to you? Look a NY, same thing, huge pop in the city, majority of the state is rural. So what?

Louisville is pretty condensed. 1.2 million people live in Louisville and it’s all within Jefferson county. Most of the roads in Louisville are horrible because of traffic and poor infrastructure. I currently live here and we can’t even get our streets plowed due to lack of funds. I hate it here.

I was born in Louisville moved to Lexington For UK & stayed. My father is from Barren County his dad died in 1935 so after the War his mom had to sell the farm and move to Louisville bc it was too much for her. My mom’s family farmed in Spencer Co and they moved to Louisville for work during the War.
