can I ask what your fasting numbers were that got you onto insulin? my levels so far are "elevated" but wondering at what point they may consider insulin for me also

Hi girly!! I also have GD and struggled to keep my numbers down. My nutritionist told me to not drink my sugars! So no protein shake, no smoothies 😭 no skipping meals, ALWAYS have your bedtime snack and also no fruit with your meals, only with your snacks!!! I promise my numbers were always high until I did these modifications 🫶🏼 now they’ve been low for 2 weeks! Maybe give that a try before insulin. Best of luck, we got this!!

I literally can’t inject myself. That’s my husband’s job, period. He hates hurting me, but he takes it so seriously, he won’t even take out if town job calls cause he doesn’t want me to have to do it 🥺

Fasting numbers are so annoying. Mine get high due to stress of work. The 4 days a week I go into the office it’s high, the 3 days I stay at home it’s normal. I fear there’s nothing I can do to fix that outside of quitting 😂
