You’re supported. You’re celebrated. Compassion isn’t about agreeing with every decision, it’s about recognizing that we don’t all start from the same place. We’re not all carrying the same weight. And we’re not all trying to arrive at the same destination. As for the scars? I’m grateful for them. I want the reminder of where I’ve come from. I want the evidence of what I’ve been through.
