Since Sapiro did not have an official theme unlike Hathoria, I reimagined it based on the available information about its culture and history. Sapiro is a warrior kingdom, though more peaceful than Hathoria. The images and clips from the TV series of Sapiro give the impression of a desert kingdom, despite it being known as the richest realm and the food basket of Encantadia, which suggests fertile land. Because of constant wars and conflict, this may explain why Sapiro appears arid and desert-like (sorry I'm not fully updated on Encantadia lol). With this in mind, the vocals use a slightly melismatic singing style. This approach is often associated with regions that have desert environments, such as parts of the Middle East and North Africa. As a result, the song does not sound as harsh as Hathorian vocals. I incorporated strong percussion to reflect Sapiro’s militaristic identity. Female vocals enter halfway through the piece to represent Sapiro’s transition from a patriarchal monarchy to a matriarchal one (from Encantadia wiki). However, the overall energy remains somewhat masculine due to its warrior and patriarchal culture (I'm looking at you, male Sapiryans). I chose violins instead of flutes, as flutes felt too soft for the tone I wanted. Although violins are not traditional historical instruments of Gulf regions, they add a dynamic quality that enhances Sapiro’s warrior theme. Take note everyone. Enchan is a fictional language created for the Encantadia series. It is inspired by Romance languages, which came from Latin, as well as Filipino languages. The script used in the series is inspired by Baybayin, but it is not Baybayin itself. Also, Baybayin is a writing system, not a language. It is similar to how Hiragana or the Cyrillic alphabet are writing systems and not languages. I am saying this as someone who has studied different languages over time, although I do not claim to be an expert. As for the Hathorian music, it was intentionally made to sound harsh and aggressive because it reflects the culture and history of Hathoria. It is not meant to be evil. When creating the Hathorian music, I did not take inspiration from real life cultures since I already incorporated the original OST from Encantadia 2016. I simply added layered vocals, drums, and low synths to enhance it. The other songs I am creating for different kingdoms and themes will definitely have different styles. They're not made to sound the same. I made the Hathorian track last January purely for fun. Thanks for reading!

Note: How did I create Hathorian and Sapirian music? Imagine Hathorian music as a patriotic song during the reign of Hagorn. It's meant to be intimidating and convincing. Meanwhile, my Sapiro music, despite being a warrior kingdom, is loosely inspired by Middle Eastern, North African, and Byzantium music plus I added violin. I wanted Sapiro to sound culturally different from Hathoria, so the former sounded softer than the latter. Both have percussions but Hathorian music has stronger and harsher sounds. They are meant to sound different, not same. I've heard that Hathoria is inspired by Japanese samurai culture, but I didn't use Japanese instrumentation for it. I included the original Hathoria OST from Encantadia 2016. Sapiro and Adamya didn't seem to have unique soundtrack so I have to imagine it. Thanks for reading!
